What is 2-Step authentication?
A 2-factor authentication (2FA) is an authentication method where you have to successfully go through two steps to gain access to something. The first step is usually entering a username and password. You will then receive a code from Mirro Foundation by email that you enter at the login screen to confirm your account, so that we are sure that this is you.
How do I enable or disable 2-factor authentication?
1.
Click on the 'figure' at the top right to go to your account information:
Or go to 'Change password' in the menu on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
2.
Slide the button next to '2-factor authentication' to the right to enable it. The gray button now turns orange. If the button is orange, the extra security step is 'on'. You can turn it off again by sliding the orange button to the left (the button turns gray).
3.
The next time you log in to Mirro you will receive a code by e-mail. You need this code to confirm the login attempt. This code has a limited period of validity.
